PURELL® Healthcare Surface Disinfectant (4340-04) is a patented, one-step hospital-grade disinfectant and cleaner designed to provide powerful germicidal efficacy with the highest level of safety. This ethyl alcohol-based formula is effective against a broad spectrum of 36 microorganisms, including MRSA, VRE, and Norovirus, achieving a full broad-spectrum kill in just 2 minutes. Notably, it is a rapid-action solution for emerging pathogens, killing SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) in only 30 seconds.
The 1-gallon refill container is designed for high-volume healthcare facilities, allowing for the economical replenishment of spray bottles or use in large-scale environmental cleaning. Formulated with no bleach, fumes, or harsh chemical residues, it is safe for use on most hard, non-porous surfaces and is EPA-approved for use on food-contact surfaces with no rinse required. Because it carries the EPA’s lowest allowable toxicity rating (Category IV), this disinfectant does not require any precautionary signal words, nor does it require the use of gloves or other personal protective equipment (PPE) during routine application.
