Designed for maximum versatility in facilities where power outlets are sparse or trip hazards must be strictly managed, this model operates on battery power (X) and features an integrated RS-232 Data Port (X) for EMR connectivity.

It provides weight measurements in both pounds and kilograms (lb/kg) and is built with a heavy-duty stainless steel handrail that allows unsteady patients to support themselves without affecting the accuracy of the weight reading. Like the rest of the 5002 line, it features a 1.5-inch low-profile platform to ensure safe patient boarding and oversized rubber wheels for smooth transport across various floor surfaces. Its "Never-Zero" technology is particularly beneficial for high-volume clinics, as it maintains accuracy through a continuous stream of patients without requiring manual intervention between weighings.
