Key Features

Precision-Ground Glass: Features a high-quality glass-on-glass design that provides the exceptionally smooth plunger action required for sensitive loss of resistance detection.

Superior Tactile Feedback: Engineered to offer more subtle pressure sensitivity than plastic alternatives, allowing for high-precision identification of the epidural space.

Metal Luer Slip Tip: Equipped with a durable metal tapered tip designed for quick and easy attachment to epidural needles while maintaining a secure friction fit.

Clear Permanent Graduations: Designed with easy-to-read markings that will not rub off, allowing for accurate measurement of air or saline.

Low-Friction Performance: Optimized for both air and saline techniques, ensuring a consistent and reproducible feel throughout the procedure.

Ideal Clinical Applications

Epidural Space Detection: Specifically utilized in anesthesia and pain management for the accurate placement of needles and catheters.

Regional Anesthesia: Ideal for specialized clinical settings where the maximum level of tactile sensitivity is required for patient safety and procedural success.

Contraindications
This device is strictly for single-use only. Do not attempt to re-use or re-sterilize, as this increases the risk of cross-contamination and may result in mechanical failure or loss of the precision sensitivity required for safe procedure execution. Do not use for any application other than those for which the device is specifically indicated.

Precautions & Warnings
Before use, always confirm the plunger moves freely and check for any chips or cracks in the glass. Visual and tactile confirmation of the loss of resistance is required for proper placement; any resistance or drag caused by a damaged syringe could lead to a false positive or accidental dural puncture. Do not use if the individual sterile packaging is damaged or opened prior to use. Always dispose of the glass device in an approved sharps or puncture-resistant container immediately after use according to facility protocol.
