The kit features high-performance 3M™ brand components, including Transpore™ Tape for securement and a Tegaderm® 1624W Notched Dressing, which allows for continuous visual monitoring of the insertion site without removing the bandage. This configuration utilizes a 1.0mL ChloraPrep® Applicator (2% CHG / 70% IPA), providing a rapid-acting and persistent antimicrobial skin preparation solution prior to venipuncture.
