The Medical Action IV Starter Kit is a sterile, single-use convenience kit designed to standardize peripheral IV insertion and improve clinical efficiency. By consolidating all necessary prep and dressing components into a single, compact package, it reduces the time spent gathering individual supplies and minimizes the risk of touch-contamination during setup.

The kit features high-performance components, including Transpore™ Tape for securement and a Bioclusive® 2" x 3" Transparent Dressing, which allows for continuous visual monitoring of the insertion site without removing the bandage. The inclusion of the ChloraPrep® .67mL SEPP® Applicator ensures a superior level of skin antisepsis compared to traditional alcohol or iodine preps, specifically targeting the reduction of catheter-related bloodstream infections (CRBSIs).
