Enfit™ One-Care™ Enteral 100mL Syringes, 10/bx
The One-Care™ Enteral 100mL Syringe (2028), manufactured by Medivena®, is a professional-grade clinical instrument specifically engineered for the high-volume administration of nutritional formulas and irrigation fluids via enteral feeding systems. This syringe is designed with a dedicated ENFit™ connector, making it an essential component for clinicians to ensure compliance with global patient safety standards (ISO 80369-3). This unit features a large, clear, high-visibility barrel for durability and accurate measurement during use within a designated clinical space.
This specific configuration is a 100 mL model, optimized for the delivery of bolus feedings and large-volume flushes to adult patients where efficiency and fluid volume are the primary requirements. The ENFit™ locking connection provides a secure, leak-proof interface that significantly reduces the risk of accidental misconnections to intravenous or other non-enteral lines, preventing catastrophic medical errors. The unit comes in a box of 10 individually blister-packed, sterile syringes, providing a comprehensive solution for high-volume patient care in acute care, long-term care, and home health environments.
Please note: All prices are for boxes.
Key Features
ISO 80369-3 ENFit™ Compliance: Functions seamlessly as a dedicated enteral-only connector to prevent accidental misconnections with other clinical delivery systems.
Large-Volume 100 mL Capacity: Provides the necessary volume for efficient bolus nutrition delivery and large-bore tube irrigation.
High-Visibility Barrel and Graduations: Facilitates easy, accurate volume verification for the clinician during preparation and administration of large fluid volumes.
Ergonomic Three-Piece Design: Outfitted with a high-quality silicone gasket and wide plunger surface to ensure smooth, controlled movement even under pressure.
Latex and DEHP-Free Construction: Provides a stable, safe delivery tool for patients with sensitivities to natural rubber latex or plasticizers.
Ideal Clinical Applications
Bolus Feeding: Efficiently manages the delivery of high-volume enteral formulas directly into feeding ports.
Enteral Hydration: Used for the administration of water flushes to maintain patient hydration and tube patency.

Contraindications
Do not use this syringe for the administration of intravenous (IV) fluids or medications. The ENFit™ design is strictly indicated for enteral use only to prevent lethal misconnection errors.
Do not use this syringe if the sterile packaging is breached or damaged, as this compromises the safety of the patient.
Warnings & Precautions
Ensure the ENFit™ threads are fully engaged and locked before initiating the delivery of fluids. A loose connection is a high-risk leakage and dosage loss hazard.
Always ensure the barrel is inspected for air bubbles before administration, especially in neonatal and pediatric applications where precise volume is required.
Monitor the syringe for any cracks or resistance in the plunger. If the barrel shows signs of stress or the plunger becomes difficult to depress, the unit must be replaced immediately to maintain the safety integrity of the delivery.
This device is designed for single-use only. Reusing the syringe can lead to cross-contamination, bacterial growth within the tip, and a loss of dosage accuracy, increasing the risk of patient harm.
