The Solventum Acelity Adaptic™ Non-Adhering Dressing (SKU 2012) is a sterile primary wound contact layer designed to protect the wound bed while preventing secondary dressing adherence. This 3 inch x 3 inch (7.6 cm x 7.6 cm) square dressing consists of a knitted cellulose acetate mesh impregnated with a specially formulated petrolatum emulsion. Its porous structure allows wound exudate to pass through easily to a secondary absorbent layer, maintaining a moist healing environment while minimizing the risk of fluid pooling.
