Contraindications: Do not use for patients who weigh less than the minimum weight requirement specified by the fall monitor. This pad is not a substitute for direct nursing observation and should not be used as the sole monitoring method for patients at extreme risk.

Ensure the pad is positioned correctly on the chair seat and that the patient’s weight is centered over the sensor area.
