The TIDI Posey® SecureSleeve® Multi-Purpose Sleeve Device is a specialized soft arm splint designed specifically for infants (typically up to 2 years of age). Unlike rigid orthopedic splints, the SecureSleeve uses a flexible, cushioned approach to limit limb movement. It is primarily used in neonatal and pediatric care to protect IV sites, surgical wounds, and medical tubing (such as NG tubes) from being pulled or disturbed by the patient. The interior is filled with tiny, flame-retardant polystyrene beads that provide a firm yet comfortable barrier, acting as a "gentle reminder" to the infant to restrict arm flexion without the discomfort of a hard board.
