The 3M™ Futuro™ Stirrup Ankle Brace is a high-stability orthopedic device designed for the management of acute ankle injuries, such as moderate-to-severe sprains and chronic instability. Unlike soft compression sleeves, this brace utilizes anatomically designed rigid shells to strictly limit lateral (side-to-side) motion, which is the primary cause of rollover injuries and ligament tears. A standout feature of this model is the pre-inflated air cells that line the interior of the shells. These air cells provide a customized, cushioned fit that helps reduce swelling and enhance circulation through targeted compression. This "Stirrup" design is particularly effective for post-cast recovery or as a protective measure during the transition back to physical activity.
