The Smith & Nephew DURAFIBER◊ Dressing is a non-woven, gelling fiber dressing designed for the management of moderate to highly exuding wounds. Composed of cellulose ethyl sulfonate fibers, the dressing absorbs wound fluid and transforms into a soft, cohesive gel upon contact with exudate. This process assists in autolytic debridement and helps maintain a moist wound environment, which is conducive to healing while also providing structural integrity for intact, one-piece removal.
