Puggle™ Enteral Feeding Pump Set with 1200ml Bag, Anti-Free Flow Valve, ENFit® Connector and Transition Connector, 30/cs

Please note: All prices are for cases.

The Amsino Puggle™ Enteral Feeding Pump Set (PE90B12T) is a professional-grade clinical delivery system specifically engineered for use with the Puggle™ Enteral Feeding Pump in institutional and home care settings. This set is designed to provide a secure, closed-circuit solution for the continuous or intermittent delivery of nutritional formulas and fluids to adult and pediatric patients. This unit features a 1200 mL capacity bag for extended feeding intervals and an integrated anti-free flow valve to ensure patient safety by preventing accidental formula overdose.

This specific configuration includes a pre-attached ENFit® connector to ensure compliance with global safety standards (ISO 80369-3), along with a stepped transition connector for compatibility with legacy feeding tubes. The non-sterile, DEHP-free, and BPA-free construction provides a high-integrity delivery path that significantly reduces the risk of chemical leaching or accidental misconnections to non-enteral lines. The unit comes in a case of 30, providing a comprehensive solution for high-volume patient care in acute care, rehabilitation, and long-term care environments.

Key Features

  • ISO 80369-3 ENFit® Compliance: Functions seamlessly as a dedicated enteral-only connector to prevent accidental misconnections with intravenous or other clinical systems.

  • Integrated Anti-Free Flow Valve: Provides a critical safety mechanism that automatically occludes the tubing when the set is not properly loaded in the pump.

  • Large 1200 mL Reservoir: Facilitates high-volume nutritional delivery and reduces the frequency of bag changes for non-ambulatory patients.

  • Dual Connector Configuration: Outfitted with both a primary ENFit® connector and a transition adapter for maximum clinical versatility across various tube types.

  • DEHP and BPA-Free Materials: Provides a stable, biocompatible delivery tool for patients with sensitivities to plasticizers or environmental toxins.

Ideal Clinical Applications

  • Institutional Pump-Fed Nutrition: Optimized for the administration of continuous enteral formulas for patients within institutional care suites using the Puggle™ pump system.

  • Ambulatory Feeding Management: Specifically indicated for patients requiring mobile nutritional support, as the pump set is designed for use in stationary and portable applications.

  • Pediatric Nutritional Support: Provides a secure, controlled delivery method for pediatric patients (infant age and older) who require precise caloric titration.

  • High-Volume Enteral Irrigation: Used in clinical settings to facilitate large-volume flushing or hydration protocols via the feeding pump circuit.

  • Patient Safety Transitions: The included transition connector allows for safer, more efficient clinical workflows when transitioning facilities from legacy ports to ENFit® standards.

Important Safety Information

Contraindications

Do not use this feeding set (PE90B12T) for the administration of parenteral (IV) fluids, medications, or blood products. This device is strictly contraindicated for any vascular access applications.

Do not use this set (PE90B12T) for gravity feeding. The integrated anti-free flow valve is specifically designed to function only when under the mechanical pressure of a compatible feeding pump; it will not allow flow via gravity alone.

Warnings & Precautions

Ensure the pump set (PE90B12T) is properly loaded into the pump according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Incorrect loading may damage the tubing or interfere with the anti-free flow mechanism, potentially causing inaccurate delivery rates.

This is a single-use device intended for a 24-hour use cycle only. Using the set (PE90B12T) beyond 24 hours increases the risk of bacterial contamination of the formula and degradation of the tubing materials, which can lead to pump errors.

Always prime the tubing completely before connecting it to the patient's feeding tube. Failure to remove air from the line can lead to gastric distress and false "upstream occlusion" alarms on the pump.

When using the included transition connector, be aware that the safety benefits of the ENFit® system are bypassed at the point of connection to the legacy tube. Monitor the connection site closely for leaks or accidental dislodgement.
