The Compass Health 3-in-1 Steel Commode (BS31C) is a professional-grade, multi-functional mobility aid specifically engineered for patient safety and clinical versatility. This high-strength steel unit is designed to function as a standalone bedside commode, a raised toilet seat, or a toilet safety frame, making it an essential component for patients with limited mobility or those recovering from orthopedic surgery. The BS31C features a gray powder-coated steel frame for maximum durability and corrosion resistance, supported by four non-skid rubber tips to ensure stability on various floor surfaces.
This specific configuration includes durable plastic armrests that provide a secure grip and leverage point for patients during the sit-to-stand transition, significantly reducing the risk of falls. The tool-free assembly and height-adjustable legs allow for rapid clinical deployment and customization to the specific anatomical requirements of the patient. The unit comes complete with a commode bucket, cover, and splash shield, providing a comprehensive solution for dignified patient care in home health, long-term care, and acute recovery settings.

Important Safety Information
Contraindications
Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 350 lbs. Exceeding this limit may cause structural failure and result in significant patient injury.
Do not use this device on uneven or inclined surfaces, as this can compromise the center of gravity and lead to tipping.
Warnings & Precautions
Ensure all four legs are adjusted to the exact same height and that the locking pins are fully engaged before allowing patient use. An unlevel commode is a high-risk fall hazard.
The Compass Health 3-in-1 Steel Commode is not intended for use as a transport chair or a shower chair unless specifically rated for immersion; prolonged exposure to water may lead to internal damage.
Always ensure the seat and lid are securely snapped onto the frame before the patient attempts to sit. Failure to secure the seat can result in the patient slipping off the frame.
Monitor the rubber tips for wear and tear. If the tips become smooth, cracked, or brittle, they must be replaced immediately to maintain the non-slip integrity of the unit.
Clean the unit regularly with non-abrasive institutional-grade disinfectants. Avoid using harsh chemical solutions that may degrade the integrity of the armrests or frame over time.
