Contraindications

Do not use these non-sterile sponges in surgical procedures or on deep, open wounds requiring a guaranteed sterile environment, as this increases the risk of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs).

Do not utilize the sponges as a permanent internal packing material, as they are intended for temporary clinical use only.

Warnings and Precautions
