The 3M™ Scotchcast™ Plus Casting Tape is a high-performance, rigid fiberglass casting material designed for applications where maximum immobilization is required. Unlike the "Soft Cast" version, Scotchcast™ Plus sets to a traditional, hard, and durable state. This 1-inch tape is specifically intended for small-scale orthopedic procedures, such as pediatric casting, finger splinting, or delicate stabilization of the hand and wrist. It features a water-activated polyurethane resin that allows clinicians to control the set time and a "slippery" resin formula that makes it easier to mold without the tape sticking to the applicator's gloves.
