3M™ Snap™ Therapy System - Bridge Dressing Kit, Foam, SecurRing™ Hydrocolloid, 14 cm x 11 cm, 10/cs

Please note: All prices are for cases.

The Solventum 3M™ Snap™ Therapy System (SKU SKTF10X10/10) is a specialized, single-use Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) interface designed for use with the mechanically powered Snap™ Therapy Cartridge. This kit features a 10cm x 10cm hydrocolloid dressing paired with an 8cm x 8cm reticulated open-cell foam filler, making it the clinical standard for treating small-to-moderate wound geometries. Unlike traditional NPWT systems that require electrical pumps and canisters, the Snap™ system utilizes a proprietary spring-based mechanism to deliver a consistent -125mmHg of pressure. This advanced dressing kit is engineered to provide a skin-friendly, airtight seal that manages low-to-moderate exudate through a discreet, silent, and battery-free interface, significantly enhancing patient quality of life and mobility during the healing process.

Key Features

  • Mechanically Powered Efficiency: Designed for the Snap™ system, which uses a constant-force spring mechanism to deliver continuous -125mmHg suction without the need for batteries, motors, or electrical cords.
  • Hydrocolloid Skin-Friendly Seal: The 10cm x 10cm proprietary hydrocolloid dressing provides a secure, flexible seal that protects the periwound skin while ensuring easy, trauma-neutral removal.
  • 8cm x 8cm Foam Interface: The reticulated open-cell foam wound filler ensures even distribution of negative pressure across the wound bed, facilitating granulation tissue formation and edema reduction.
  • Integrated Microport & Tubing: Every kit includes a pre-integrated microport and cut-to-length tubing with a one-way check valve, preventing fluid backflow and simplifying the connection to the therapy cartridge.
  • Silent & Discreet Operation: The canister-less, spring-driven design is completely silent and lightweight (<3 oz), allowing it to be worn easily under clothing without the "hum" or weight of traditional NPWT pumps.

Ideal Clinical Applications

  • Lower Extremity Ulcers: Highly effective for managing small-to-mid-sized Diabetic Foot Ulcers (DFUs) and Venous Leg Ulcers (VLUs) where mobility and ease of use are critical for patient compliance.
  • Surgically Closed Incisions: Used to protect high-risk surgical sites from dehiscence and surgical site infections (SSIs) by offloading tension and removing serosanguinous fluid.
  • Chronic & Acute Pressure Injuries: Ideal for Stage II–IV pressure ulcers that require stabilized negative pressure to promote the formation of healthy granulation tissue.
  • Skin Grafts and Flaps: Provides the necessary stabilization and fluid removal to support the "take" of skin grafts and flaps in reconstructive procedures.
  • Traumatic & Dehisced Wounds: A reliable choice for managing small traumatic lacerations or surgical wounds that have split and require secondary intention healing.

Important Safety Information

MRI Safety Status: The Snap™ Therapy Cartridge is MRI Unsafe. The cartridge must be disconnected and removed from the patient before they enter an MRI suite. The dressing itself may remain in place, but the tubing must be secured per facility protocol.

Active Therapy Limit (24-Hour Rule): NEVER leave the Snap™ Advanced Dressing in place without active negative pressure for more than 24 hours. If the red indicator on the cartridge is visible (indicating loss of pressure), the dressing must be replaced or the suction restored immediately to prevent infection risks.

Submergence Warning: While patients may shower with the dressing in place (once the cartridge is properly disconnected), the Snap™ system components must not be submerged in water (e.g., baths or pools).

Hyperbaric Oxygen (HBO) Warning: The Snap™ Therapy Cartridge, strap, and tube fitting are not approved for use in Hyperbaric Oxygen chambers and should be considered a fire hazard in those environments.
