The Solventum Acelity Adaptic™ Non-Adhering Dressing (SKU 2019) is a sterile primary dressing designed to protect the wound bed while preventing the secondary dressing from sticking to the site. This 5 inch x 9 inch (12.7 cm x 22.9 cm) dressing consists of a knitted cellulose acetate fabric impregnated with a specially formulated petrolatum emulsion. Its porous structure allows wound exudate to pass through to a secondary absorbent layer while maintaining a moist environment conducive to healing.

Important Safety Information

Secondary Dressing Requirement: This product is a primary contact layer only and must be used in conjunction with an absorbent secondary dressing and securement method.

Contraindications: Do not use on patients with a known sensitivity to petrolatum or cellulose acetate.

Exudate Monitoring: In cases of highly viscous exudate, the pores of the dressing may become obstructed; ensure the dressing is changed regularly to maintain effective fluid transfer to the secondary layer.
