Once applied, the liquid dries quickly to form a completely transparent, breathable, and waterproof coating. Because it contains no alcohol, it can be applied to excoriated or denuded skin without causing a stinging sensation, making it a critical component in patient comfort and skin integrity management.

Important Safety Information

Flammability Warning: The product is highly flammable in its liquid state. Keep the wipe and the treated area away from open flames, sparks, or ignition sources until the film has dried completely.

Drying Requirement: The film must be allowed to dry completely (approximately 30 seconds) before being covered with dressings, clothing, or incontinence products to prevent skin-to-surface sticking.

Incompatibility with Creams: Do not use Cavilon™ No-Sting Barrier Film in combination with other skin creams, lotions, or ointments, as these substances will prevent the film from bonding and cause the barrier to fail.
