As the smallest offering in the Medipore™ +Pad family, this 2" x 2 3/4" (5cm x 7cm) configuration features a 1" x 1 1/2" (2.5cm x 4cm) non-adherent central pad. It is specifically engineered for minor surgical incisions, catheter sites, and small-scale traumatic injuries. The soft, porous cloth tape backing provides exceptional multi-directional stretch, allowing the dressing to conform to the most challenging anatomical curves and accommodate localized swelling. This "pocket-sized" solution integrates a highly absorbent pad with a hypoallergenic adhesive, eliminating the need for bulky gauze and tape in delicate clinical applications.

Important Safety Information

Skin Tension Warning: To prevent mechanical skin trauma and tension blisters, do not stretch the dressing during application. Apply the center over the wound first and smooth the adhesive borders outward without pulling or tensioning the fabric.

Hemostasis Requirement: Ensure that active bleeding is controlled and adequate hemostasis is achieved at the wound site before applying the dressing to maintain a secure adhesive seal.

Adhesion Protocol: For optimal performance, the skin must be clean, dry, and free of any prep-liquid or detergent residue. Clipping hair is recommended over shaving to minimize the risk of skin irritation.
