Contraindications Do not use this product for patients who are aggressive, combative, or who may attempt to climb over the bolsters, as this could lead to a fall from a greater height. Do not use on a mattress that is too narrow for the fabric base to lie completely flat.

Warnings & Precautions CAUTION: Regularly inspect the Roll Guard to ensure the fabric base is flat and the bolsters are properly aligned with the patient's torso. Ensure the bolsters do not interfere with the patient’s ability to breathe or obstruct medical tubing and lines.

Monitor patient skin integrity at all contact points. While the vinyl cover is fluid-resistant, ensure the patient is not subjected to prolonged moisture buildup against the skin. Replace the unit immediately if the vinyl cover is punctured, cracked, or if the foam core becomes contaminated.

Keep away from open flames or high-heat sources; vinyl and foam materials can be damaged or emit fumes if exposed to excessive heat. Do not use the bolsters as a substitute for a comprehensive patient monitoring plan.

Wipe clean with hospital-approved disinfectant between uses; do not launder or submerge the foam bolsters in liquid.
