The Posey® Executone 7-Pin Future Adapter (8235NCF) is a specialized communication interface designed to integrate Posey® fall monitoring systems with Executone 7-pin Futura nurse call stations. This adapter utilizes a Male-to-Female pass-through configuration, which allows the facility to maintain existing bedside call button functions while adding a dedicated 1/4-inch phono jack for fall alarm connectivity. The included 3-foot cord is specifically sized to provide a tidy, low-profile connection between the nurse call wall station and the fall monitor, reducing excess cabling in the patient’s immediate environment.
By bridging the local Posey® monitor with the facility's central notification system, this adapter ensures that any fall-risk events are transmitted instantly to the nursing station. This is a critical component for hospitals and long-term care facilities using legacy Executone hardware that require a hardwired "No Fall" safety protocol. The construction features durable, molded connectors and professional-grade shielding to ensure reliable signal transmission and protect against the electrical interference common in high-acuity clinical settings.
Key Features

Contraindications: Do not use if the 7-pin configuration does not match the facility’s wall jack or the bed's communication cable. Not for use with non-Futura Executone systems that require different pin layouts.
Warnings & Precautions: This adapter is a communication accessory and does not provide fall monitoring on its own. It must be used in conjunction with a functioning Posey® fall monitor. Always perform a functional "call test" after installation by triggering the fall monitor and verifying that the signal is received at the central nursing station.
Ensure the 3-foot cord is routed away from patient movement and is not pinched by bed rails or moving furniture. Inspect the pins and connectors regularly for signs of bending, corrosion, or wear. If the nurse call signal fails to trigger or if the adapter feels loose in the wall jack, remove it from service immediately to prevent unmonitored fall events.
