Please note: All prices are for individual units.
The Posey® Sitter On Cue™ PRO Wireless Alarm (8645WL) is an advanced, high-performance fall monitoring unit designed to provide caregivers with maximum flexibility and reliability in patient safety. This dual-functioning monitor supports both wired and wireless sensor connections, utilizing Tap-2-Pair® technology for near-instant synchronization with wireless pads and nurse call adapters. By eliminating the need for physical cords between the alarm and the sensor, this unit significantly reduces tripping hazards and allows for versatile placement anywhere within the patient’s room, headwall, or mobile equipment.
This pro-level alarm features a comprehensive suite of customizable alerts, including eight distinct alarm tones and a voice-recording feature that allows a familiar voice to remind the patient to "Please call for help." The large, front-facing status light provides a clear visual indicator of the monitoring state, while a dedicated "Hold" button allows for temporary patient repositioning without triggering false alarms. Engineered for the rigors of high-acuity environments, the Sitter On Cue™ PRO is the central hub for modern fall management, bridging the gap between legacy wired hardware and next-generation wireless safety protocols.
Key Features
-
Tap-2-Pair® Technology: Simplifies the pairing process by allowing caregivers to simply tap the wireless device icons together for a fast, confirmed connection.
-
Dual Monitoring Capability: Supports up to five sensors simultaneously (two wired and three wireless), allowing a patient to move between a bed and chair without reconfiguring equipment.
-
Custom Voice Recording: Features a high-fidelity microphone for recording personalized messages in a caregiver’s or family member’s voice to provide comfort and direction to the patient.
-
Visual Status Indicators: Equipped with large, easy-to-read LED lights that indicate active monitoring, low battery, and specific sensor connection status.
-
Adjustable Notification Modes: Offers four notification settings, including a "Mute" mode that silences the bedside alarm while still transmitting alerts to the central nurse call station.
Ideal Clinical Applications
-
High-Acuity Fall Management: Ideal for orthopedic or med-surg units where patients with high fall risk scores require consistent, fail-safe monitoring.
-
Memory Care & Dementia Units: The voice-recording feature is particularly effective for redirecting patients with cognitive impairments using familiar, non-threatening instructions.
-
Rehabilitation Settings: Supports patients who frequently transition between various seating and sleeping surfaces, requiring a monitor that can manage multiple active sensors.

Contraindications: This device is not a substitute for active nursing supervision. Do not use for patients who are at extreme risk of a life-threatening fall or those with suicidal or combative tendencies. Not intended as the sole means of surveillance for patients requiring constant one-on-one observation.
Warnings & Precautions: Always test the alarm and paired sensors before leaving the patient unattended. Ensure the wireless range is sufficient for the intended room layout and that the low-battery indicator is checked daily. If the alarm fails to sound or the status light indicates a connection error, replace the sensor or unit immediately.
Verify that the "Hold" mode is deactivated once the patient is returned to the monitored surface. Use of an AC adapter does not eliminate the need for batteries as a backup power source. When using wireless components, be aware that external radio frequency interference could potentially affect signal integrity. This device does not prevent falls; it is intended only to alert caregivers of an attempted exit.
