The Reusable Repositioning Sling

The washable repositioning sling is made of a breathable poly/cotton material designed to increase skin safety and remain under a patient. This repositioning sling assists with turning, boosting, and transferring users in a laying position. These slings can be laundered and reused for use between multiple patients. The safe working load is 600 lb for the standard size and 1000 lb for the bariatric size.

The patient to be transferred must be assessed by a qualified professional before attempting to lift and transfer.

Before using the sling, familiarize yourself with the proper method of sling attachment and lift operation. You can find this information in the operator’s manual provided with your lift system.

Inspect the sling carefully before each use. If fraying, seam separation, or other damage is visible or suspected, dispose of it immediately and replace it with a new sling.

Finally, never exceed the weight limitations of your lift or sling, as serious harm to the patient or caregiver may result.

Warranty

This product includes a manufacturer limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. The term of warranty is listed as the date of product receipt. 

For equipment:

• Mechanical lift components: 2-year warranty
• Electrical components: 1-year warranty
• Battery: 1-year warranty

Warranty service is provided by the manufacturer. Full warranty documentation is included with the product. 

For Reusable and Washable Slings: When washed once per week the sling has an Expected Service Life of 2 years. 

Service Life is based upon a correct usage and washing procedure in accordance with Instructions For Use provided with the product.
