Summit Powered Sit-to-Stand — Advanced Transfer & Stand Assist Solution
The Summit Powered Sit-to-Stand from Wy’East Medical is a premium powered device engineered to safely support caregivers who transfer partially weight-bearing patients between beds, chairs, and commodes. It is also used to support mobility and ambulation. Designed for use in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and clinical environments, the Summit enhances safe patient handling while reducing caregiver strain and risk of injury. It has a safe working load of 500 lbs.
Built around a power-assisted actuator and compatible sit-to-stand sling, the Summit lifts and lowers users with smooth, controlled motion to facilitate seated transfers and assisted mobility exercises or ambulation. Often referred to as a “stand aid” or “stand assist,” this versatile device helps improve patient confidence by reducing fall risk while assisting with functional mobility and care team efficiency.
The Summit features a removable footplate for ambulation, an adjustable base width for optimized access around chairs, beds, and commodes. An optional padded telescoping handlebar accommodates a variety of patient sizes. Optional accessories — including oxygen tank and IV pole holders — streamline caregiver workflows by keeping essential equipment securely in place during transfers.
With QR-code tutorial access provided directly on the unit, caregivers can quickly view training guides, on demand videos, and tip sheets on demand for safer, faster onboarding, refresher options and confident operation.
The Summit Powered Sit-to-Stand is an essential part of safe patient handling and early mobility programs, supporting clinical teams as they help patients transition toward independence and mobility goals.
